In addition to my own performing, I am passionate about teaching others to sing. My approach is individualistic, helping each student recognise and alleviate their particular physical and mental blocks in order to find joy in vocal expression and achieve a healthy, dependable technique.

I have ten years' experience teaching children and adults, both privately and at school, having been a visiting music teacher at The Lady Eleanor Holles School in Hampton, Broomwood Hall and St Benedict's Ealing. Through my outreach work with Operar'r Ddraig, Sforza and Opera Anywhere, I have also curated projects aimed at introducing school-age children to opera and giving them their first taste of life on stage.

Performing:
Jen has appeared as a principal or cover artist for Opera North, WNO, The Grange Festival, Bury Court Opera and Opera Anywhere, among many others. On the consort scene she has worked with Tenebrae, Musica Beata, Britten Sinfonia Voices, The Southwell Festival and The Sixteen (in collaboration with The Grange Festival.) ​
