Jennifer is a graduate of Cambridge University and RWCMD’s MA Opera Performance course, where she was a Leverhulme Scholar and winner of the Jo and Martin Furber Prize for Opera. She recently made her critically acclaimed Opera North debut as Flora / The Turn of the Screw, returning in the autumn to sing Gretel in a special, outdoor, socially distanced production of Hansel and Gretel: Whistlestop Opera.

I'm delighted to present Hansel and Gretel: digital storybook project in collaboration with my friends at Opera Anywhere! With brand new illustrations, text and audio recordings throughout, this is a lovely (and free) resource for school children on Humperdinck's fairytale opera. The Den is one of the #OperaHarmony prize-winners! Christopher Schlechte-Bond and Fiona Williams's micro opera (recorded on mobile phones in isolation during lockdown) won a prize generously awarded by the Rolf Liebermann Fund. Thank you to all who voted for us!

Delighted to be singing Gretel in Hansel and Gretel: Whistlestop Opera for Opera North's revised Autumn season. Our special, Covid-safe, reduced performance is touring throughout August and September. Devised and directed by John Savournin.
